Inspired by a love for the countryside and an appreciation for all things wild, Lynne began sculpting in 2003 and since then her work has gone from strength to strength. She hand-sculpts her sea creatures using earthenware clay with the first kiln firing then at 1240*C. Crystallised glazes are then applied before second firing at 999-1100*C. Each firing takes 8 hours and it is during the second firing that the amazing colours are brought out of the glaze by the heat in the kiln, making each piece unique in it's character.
